A boat receipt is an acknowledgment of payment provided by the seller to the buyer for the purchase of a vessel. In addition to providing proof that the seller received the full financial compensation for the boat, the receipt also provides necessary fields to include additional items, such as a trailer or an outboard motor, that were included in the sale.
