Commercial Cleaning Estimate Template
A commercial cleaning estimate is a document provided by a commercial cleaning contractor to a potential client that estimates the cost of a potential job. The estimate helps both the contractor and the client to evaluate the scope, timeframe, and value of the work.
What is Commercial Cleaning?
Commercial cleaning is a cleaning service intended for properties with commercial use. Commercial cleaners provide all types of cleaning, including sweeping and vacuuming, polishing surfaces, cleaning waste, and sanitizing.
Types of Commercial Cleaning
There are many different types of commercial cleaning. These types of commercial cleaning are:
- Green cleaning (environmentally friendly)
- Commercial kitchen cleaning
- Office building cleaning
- Hospital cleaning
- Cleaning of universities and schools
Do Commercial Cleaners Have to be Insured?
No, commercial cleaners aren’t required to be insured. However, while they do not need to be insured, commercial cleaners can be prone to severe slip-and-fall accidents. In 2020, around 805 workers died from falls, and 211,000 were severely injured. So making sure your employees are adequately insured can make a difference.
Steps to Sending an Estimate
Step One – Gather the Information
The client should provide as many details as possible to the commercial cleaners. Such information can include where the site is located, the size, and the products they might wish to utilize for their site. Many commercial cleaners will also have a questionnaire that clients can fill out to adjust the service to their needs.
Step Two – Create the Estimate
Creating an estimate can be simple. We recommend using Invoice Maker as it’s easy to use. Manually creating a physical estimate is another option. Elements to include in the estimate are the company’s information and the customer’s information, a description of the service being provided, and the estimated cost of the cleaning job.
Step Three – Send the Estimate
If the cleaners make a digital estimate, they can send their estimate to the client’s email address. If a paper estimate is created, the cleaners can mail them the estimate or deliver the estimate in person to the client.
Can the Price Change?
Yes, prices can always change. The commercial cleaner must specify in the estimate that prices are subject to change. If changes do occur, the commercial cleaners should notify the client as soon as possible and explain why the figure in the estimate has changed.
