A clothing donation receipt is where new or used clothes are donated to an organization to be reused. Also known as an “in-kind” donation, is common for organizations such as Goodwill and the Salvation Army that resell used clothes in their retail stores. When dropping off the clothes, an agent from the organization will often inspect the clothes and provide an estimate of their worth. The estimate ($) of the clothes donated will be included in the receipt and signed by a representative.
